dana roquemore is probably one of the busiest people in orlando. between doing personal styling, being the co-founder of one orlando’s hottest vintage companies, other peoples property & her newest venture, the dinner party project it’s a wonder she has time to sleep (much less time to come podcast with us). in episode 18 of S&gC we cover all things orlando, the art of public speaking & we try to figure if “toast” can be a meal.

big thanks to dana for hanging out with us.

if you’ve been in orlando florida for any decent amount of time, odds are you’ve run into eddie. there’s also a better than average change he made you laugh. a fixture in the orlando music scene for the last 30 or so years, eddie is quick with a joke, enjoys a pun & has no shortage of good stories. in episode 17 we talk tons of music, 60s films, fashion & fatherhood. also for some reason we touch on patrick demises movie career. it’s always nice to talk with eddie.

big thanks to eddie for hanging out with us.

episode 16 – hanging with stevie wonder, spying on people having sex in a car & being really, really nice – a conversation with whitney rapert

pretty sure we say how nice whitney is about 10 times in this one hour podcast. mostly because it’s true. she’s totally nice. she also happens to be really funny. it took us two tries to get her in to record with us (our fault, not hers) but were glad she made it. after a couple glasses of wine, we cover a wide range of topics including but not limited to…

  1. hanging out at a super fancy & private stevie wonder concert
  2. spying on people having afternoon sex in a parking lot
  3. the pros & cons of fifty shades of gray as piece of literature

big thanks to whitney for drinking wine & talking with us!

switching things up a bit this time. we let our buddy, artist & co-host of one of our favorite local orlando podcasts, matt & jonah make a scene, take over the show. matt borrows our master list of questions asks us a few. we cover the pros & cons of dying in a botched bank robbery, happy holidays vs. merry christmas & cannibalism. in the end we find out we like to interview more than being interviewed but its always fun hanging with matt.

big thanks to matt for taking the time to ask us some questions.
