dan st pierre is one of our favorite kind of people, he’s part owner of a BREWERY. but, that’s not the coolest thing about him. besides having what could be described as an awesome beard, he’s worked in the film industry on films like the hunger games & terminator genisys, he’s got decent taste in music & he’s just an all around chill guy to hang with. pretty much the kinda dude you wanna share a beer with & talk to. in this episode we cover his transition from the film business to the brew business, his love of bad 80s television & marky mark & the funky bunch, hong kong phooey & a whole, whole lot more.

we sat down with aaron exactly 5 days after the horrific shooting at the pulse nightclub here in our hometown of orlando. i think both of us still felt a bit numb & in a state of disbelief. somehow it didn’t feel right to laugh or smile. after a couple beers & talking for over an hour, in the end, i think we both felt just a tiny bit better.

we met aaron over a mutual love of digging for old things. we soon found out he plays keyboards in orlando’s best garage soul band, THE SH-BOOMS. having him on the podcast was a absolute no-brainer. besides trying to wrap our heads around the tragic events that took place in our beautiful city, we end up all over the place on this one. from talking about his vintage company 60 WATT VINTAGE & the never ending quest for vintage goodies to his bar nickname at our favorite watering hole. our conversation with aaron made a pretty shitty week sorta better. he’s smart, cool & a good dude to do some mid-afternoon day drinking with.
