ROSIE, the official dog of SCOTCH AND “good” CONVERSATION does not like danny. she does some fairly serious barking at he beginning of this episode. you’re gonna wanna power through cause it does end & danny is a great guy with lots to say. we, on the other hand, like danny a lot. he’s funny as hell, doesn’t seem to hate our dog even know she seems to dislike him & he brings great things to our city. danny wants to change the world, one mug of coffee at a time. with his coffee bar, VITA LUNA CAFE danny is building a better community & becoming a better person. in this episode of SAgC we drink a couple beers & cover everything from “critical commentary on everyday life” to fuck buddies. despite the barking it’s a good time.

if you’ve played video games in the last ten or so years odds are ian cummings may have had a hand in the game you were playing. between his time spent at ea (electronic arts), zynga, fanduel or his new gig as the developer of PHOTO FINISH HORES RACING he’s been involved in gaming for a good chunk of his life. but, you’d never guess he was a “gaming” guy. he’s a talented musician, he’s wicked funny, pretty darn charming & down right cool. in this episode of SAgC we talk about  over coming our fears & trying to be more like our fathers, back hair, 311, being called out by “internet assholes”, the orlando music scene & his time spent “being the face of madden football”.

matt uva from orlando’s QUANTUM LEAP WINERY looks the part. bushy beard, slightly unkept hair, jeans, work boots etc. but, although he knows a shit ton about wine, he isn’t a pretentious wine snob. he’s cool & he wants to make wine approachable without compromising its quality. he cares about wine & it shows.

oddly enough in episode 48 of SAgC we don’t drink any wine (he was kind enough to bring some for us to try later. it was delicious!). we drink some local florida beers, some of QUANTUM LEAPS CIDER (amazing, find some & try it. you won’t be disappointed) & even dip into a very nice bottle of bourbon. needless to say we talk, a lot. we cover his move to orlando, his life changing first bottle of wine, his love of “mountain climbing girls”, the origin of his last name & a whole, whole lot more.
